DUBAI, U.A.E.: Iran's Deputy Defense Minister Reza Talaei-Nik said on April 28 that his country is ready to share its defensive weapons capabilities with "independent countries, especially members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)."
Iran fought a war with the United States and Israel from late February to early April. During the fighting, Iran launched many drones and missiles at U.S. bases in the region and at targets in Israel. It also sometimes shot down U.S. aircraft, mostly drones, in its airspace.
Talaei-Nik said at a meeting of SCO defense ministers in Kyrgyzstan that Iran is ready to share what it learned from what it called America's defeat with other member countries.
The official also recently met with defense officials from Russia and Belarus, who said they are willing to continue working with Iran.
The fighting has paused after a ceasefire announced earlier this month, but talks to fully end the two-month war have not made progress.
